Ice House Gallery - Mayfield

Mayfield’s historic Ice House is home to the Mayfield-Graves County Art Guild, who serves the community through displaying art works with both solo and group shows, providing guidance and workspace for artists who may not have space, and offering a gift shop of items created by local artists. The Ice House features ten exhibits through the year and sponsors the Gourd Patch Festival in October.

Gourd Patch Festival

The Gourd Patch Art Festival takes place annually on the 3rd Saturday of October, in picturesque downtown Mayfield. Festival activities include the following: arts and crafts vendors; gourd, pumpkin, and mum vendors; a gourd-mobile derby race; live music; handmade products; art for sale; a bake sale; and, a silent auction.

Graves County High School Performing Arts Center

The Independence Bank Performing Arts Center (the PAC) is a District facility of Graves County Schools. Though located at the corner of Graves County High School, the PAC serves 7 elementary schools in addition to GCHS, GCMS, and Gateway Academy. The PAC hosts numerous training events, meetings, and seminars throughout the year, but the heart of the PAC is Fine Arts students and staff. The yearly calendar features many free, public concerts and performances, including middle school, and elementary schools, though it is utilized most often by the GCHS Fine Arts department. Ensembles from the high school include: Concert Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Music Theater, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Drama, Forensics team, and many others! Purchase Players Community Performing Arts Center - Mayfield

42 years young, the Purchase Players mission is to engage, inspire, entertain and challenge audiences with theatrical productions; to train and support the next generation of theatre artists; to provide arts education programs that promote life-long learning to our community; and to celebrate the essential power of the theatre to illuminate our common humanity. This building was opened in 2002 and includes annual season performances by children, adults and teens.
