Haunted Graves, sponsored by the Mayfield-Graves County Tourism Commission, is a month-long celebration of all things Halloween in Mayfield and Graves County, Kentucky.
Mayfield & Graves County already is home to the Wooldridge Monuments in Maplewood Cemetery, known as the “Strange Procession that Never Moves”, and featured in the television show, “Ripley’s Believe it or Not”, and in the book, “Weird Kentucky”. Mayfield & Graves County also is host to A-Maize-ing Farms, the largest corn maize in Kentucky, as well as terrifying places like Talon Falls Adventure Park in Melber and the Industrial Slaughterhouse in Fancy Farm (all three open every weekend during the month of October). When your name is Graves County and you’ve been home to the filming of not one, but two horror movies, Talon Falls and Starlight, you know you’ve got something spooky going on…thus, the creation of Haunted Graves.
